Little Owl Cottage is a luxury grade II listed thatched character cottage sleeping 2 adults hidden away in the small village of Knowstone on the edge of Exmoor. The village boasts a Michelin Starred Pub - The Masons Arms which is 50yds from Little Owl. The Masons Arms is the 'Michelin Pub of the Year 2010'

Little Owl is the perfect dog friendly cottage. It welcomes one well-behaved dog at only £4 per night, dogs love the secure garden at the rear of the cottage and The Masons Arms welcomes dogs.

Little Owl is a brand new letting cottage for 2010 and we are taking bookings for stays after 1st April 2010. A 10% discount is available before this date for bookings. We have no photos of the cottage just yet but this will be updated shortly.

Little Owl was built in the 16th Century and the lounge exudes charm and character with a large inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and a wood burning stove, large window seat and original ceiling beams.

A comfortably furnished apartment for two people attached to a former railway station (owners’ home). Situated in the beautiful Teign River valley, on the eastern edge of Dartmoor, it is an excellent centre for exploring Devon’s moors, coasts and villages. Pubs, shops, wonderful walks, golf and fishing nearby.

Kitchen, lounge/dining room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Central heating, all electricity, fuel, bed linen & towels included. Own entrance and private enclosed garden with patio furniture. Extensive grounds and small woodland for exercising your dog(s). Parking on site. Non smokers only.

Friendly, family run park amidst wonderful coastal countryside, between the boating paradise of Salcombe and the old fishing village of Hope Cove.  Peaceful, spacious, mostly level pitches, some with sea views.  Childrens play area, quiet, well behaved dogs are welcome on our parks and in our static caravans.  We have well maintained dog walk and exercising meadow.  Bags and bins are there to use.  We ask that dogs always be kept on leads and never left in caravans or tents unattended.

We have good access to coastal footpaths.  Within a 5 minute drive Bolberry Downs - 100 acres of level, open clifftop land.  A variety of circular paths to discover, most with breathtaking coastal views.  A dog walking paradise for most abilities.  Plenty of free parking including disabled.  Some paths accommodation buggies and wheelchairs….. and a friendly inn welcoming all.

Our pretty sandy coves and beaches mostly accept dogs as do local river boat trips and 90% of pubs.  All in all, a very unspoilt and beautiful dog friendly area to explore and we'd welcome you to share it with us.

If you wish to bring more than 2 dogs, or Rottweillers, Dobermans, Staffordshire Bull Terriers etc, then we can do this by arrangement only.
