Dog Friendly Holidays in The South Downs National Park
Want to go on a dog friendly holiday, so that all of your family members can go? Then we are sure to have something for you as pets are welcome at all of the properties here at Dogs Invited. There are some great dog friendly holiday cottages in the South Downs National Park to stay at, and wherever you go, one thing is sure - your pets are welcome!
The South Downs National Park covers 628 square miles in southern England, from Winchester in the west to Eastbourne in the east, through the counties of Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex. There is plenty of walking, cycling or horse riding along the South Downs Way, stopping off at many olde English dog friendly pubs along the way for a pint (or two) of traditional ales.
There is plenty to explore on your holiday in the South Downs, from St Catherine's Hill in the west with it's iron age hillfort and and the remains of the Norman chapel of St Catherine, to the spectacular cliffs of Beachy Head in the east. Needless to say there are plenty of beaches that you can take your dog to all year round, but please check any restrictions beforehand! Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre is a great place to spend the day with your dog and the rest of the family, with it's 36 acres of crafts, vintage transport, exhibitions and nature trails.
We hope that you found a dog friendly holiday in The South Downs National Park for you and your pets.
