A fabulous wing of an imposing Georgian townhouse set in an elevated position with outstanding views across Morecambe bay. The spacious property has been tastefully modernised to provide excellent holiday accommodation that is both comfortable and stylish.  The property is laid out over ground and lower ground floors. We have found that dog owners seem to favour one of the lower ground floor bedrooms which is ensuite and has access to outdoors via a lockable door.

The property, which is gas centrally heated, has additional electric fires in the lounge and dining room and is double glazed.  It also boasts a large sitting room and generous dining room with seating for 8. There is a well equipped kitchen which has a washer dryer, dishwasher, single door range oven and microwave. Three bathrooms are available and the main bathroom has bath with shower over and the two en suites have corner baths (one jaccuzi bath).  Four large bedrooms can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children - 2 king-size and 2 twin - and one twin room has a sofa bed in it which can be made up on request. Cot and highchair available.

Facilities

Upon your arrival, you will find a welcome book with details of local attractions and restaurant recommendations.  You may also find welcome gifts, home baking, dog treats etc.  We do offer a dog sitting service by prior arrangement at an additional arranged cost, but do not mind if dogs are left for a short period in the kitchen.

1 Lingfell is situated just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Grange over Sands, which has a wide array of dog friendly establishments including pubs and cafes.

The charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands is set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay, and offers one of the mildest climates in the North of England.

The advent of the Furness Railway transformed the small fishing village of Grange-over-Sands into the fashionable Victorian / Edwardian resort, with wealthy merchants building grand houses.

The town features a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, a duck pond, golf courses, brass band concerts and vantage points for bird watching. The shop fronts still retain their Edwardian appearance with many shops selling local produce.

Just two miles from the beautiful medieval village of Cartmel with its historic Priory wonderful artisan food shops and Michelin star restaurant.
