Burnfoot Holiday Cottages
Burnfoot,
Rothbury, Northumberland, NE65 7EY

Experience a luxury self-catering cottage holiday at Burnfoot
Holiday Cottages in Northumberland – dogs are welcome.
With uninterrupted views of the Cheviot Hills, a wealth of wildlife
on its doorstep, and the babble of a burn in the background,
Burnfoot is the perfect place in which to escape the pressures of
modern life.
Located on the edge of the National Park, the holiday cottages have
been created from the careful conversion of a very grandly designed
19th century stone-built farm steading with a fascinating historical
connection. Burnfoot, so named because of its location at the
confluence of two tributaries of the River Coquet, was created by
perhaps the greatest of Victorian inventor industrialists, Lord
Armstrong, and was an integral part of his world-renowned Cragside
Estate, now owned by the National Trust.
There are lots of fantastic walks straight from the doorstep, and
plenty of secure space on site for dogs to stretch their legs!
