Nestled in the charming village of Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr near Cerrigydrudion in North Wales, Neuadd Wen is a superb 18th-century, four-bedroom cottage that offers a unique and pet-friendly retreat for a family or group of eight plus their canine companion. Conveniently located between Ruthin and Cerrigydrudion, with easy access to Snowdonia National Park, this cottage boasts period furniture, original features such as exposed stonework and beams, and bedrooms spread across two separate wings.
Upon arrival, you’ll find an entrance hall to store your coats and shoes, along with a contemporary shower room perfect for refreshing after a day of exploration. Relax in the traditional sitting room, where a plush sofa and an open fire create a cosy atmosphere as you watch your favourite shows on the TV.
The amply-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a handy dishwasher. Enjoy your meals in the dining room, complete with a woodburning stove, or dine alfresco in the private garden, where your four-legged friend can roam freely. On cooler evenings, the conservatory provides a lovely spot for drinks while you soak in the country views.
When it’s time to retire for the night, Neuadd Wen offers a well-appointed double bedroom on the ground floor, another double on the first floor in the first wing, and an additional double and an adult bunk room in the second wing, all served by a stylish bathroom.
