Property Details
Nutley Edge is a beautiful rural property overlooking the stunning landscape of the Ashdown Forest, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Originally a working farm, the buildings were converted into self-catering holiday cottages in 2011 and opened to the public soon after. Nutley Edge is the perfect destination for couples, families or groups looking to ‘get away from it all’ and enjoy the peace and quiet of the East Sussex countryside.
Set on eleven acres of rolling farmland, guests can roam our paddocks, as well as a number of designated wildlife habitats, including a wildlife pond, spruce woodland and ancient gill woodland, which even has its own stream.
Nutley Edge is a gated, secure site with CCTV. There is plenty of parking available on-site and you might also get to meet Buzz and Woody, our resident goats.
As well as providing high-quality accommodation and hosting functions and events, Nutley Edge has a strong charitable ethos. We are owned by Outward, a London-based charity that supports people with a range of disabilities, and is specially set up to welcome disabled guests. Two of the cottages at Nutley Edge are fully wheelchair-accessible, Sycamore Cottage and Alder Cottage.
We understand how much of a challenge it can be to go on holiday with disabled loved ones or groups. From the outset, Nutley Edge has been about ensuring that the process of arranging and enjoying a holiday for people with disabilities is as simple, stress-free and fun as possible.
Whether you are an organisation looking to make a group booking for your disabled customers or an individual who would like to book one of our cottages, we will work closely with you to answer any questions and ensure that your needs are met.
Please visit our Supported Holidays page to find out more about the holidays we run for adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions (ASC).
