Accommodation Details

The self-catering accommodation on our 5-star holiday park lets you relax and enjoy your holiday whatever the time of year. Sleeping from two to eight people, each lodge has a parkland view and a veranda with outdoor furniture for dining alfresco. The lodges are located on a gentle hillside with views over the Derbyshire Dales. Spa lodges also include a hot tub on the lodge’s veranda and many of our lodges are pet friendly.

Pets are part of the family too. Rather than leave them at home or in kennels, why not bring them with you to one of our lodges specially designated for guests with pets. Our lodges are surrounded by country walks, making dog walking a joy for both owner and companion.

Two dogs of any size are allowed to stay in pet friendly lodges. Please remember to bring your pet basket with you to make them feel at home. Well behaved pets may be left unattended in lodges for short periods. Please note that some lodges do accept pets whilst others are kept pet-free.

Area Details

Ashbourne, located at the southern end of the Peak District, is a quintessential English market town that captures the charm and character of traditional towns. Its market place, adorned with stalls, sets the stage for a vibrant market atmosphere. The town’s eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns, and almshouses contribute to its picturesque appeal.

During the 18th century, Ashbourne thrived as a fashionable social centre, and many exquisite Georgian buildings from that era still grace the town’s streets. These architectural gems provide a glimpse into the town’s rich history and add to its unique ambiance. Today, Ashbourne continues to offer a range of dining options, from cosy restaurants to welcoming inns, allowing visitors to savour local flavours and hospitality.

Ashbourne is renowned as a destination for antique hunters, attracting those seeking unique treasures and collectibles. The town’s antique shops and markets offer a variety of items, although it’s worth noting that bargains may be rare in this popular hub for antiques.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Ashbourne provides easy access to the scenic Dove and Manifold Valleys. These picturesque landscapes invite exploration and offer opportunities for hiking, walking, and immersing oneself in nature’s beauty.

Whether you are captivated by Ashbourne’s historic charm, enticed by its culinary delights, or drawn to the outdoor pursuits in the surrounding valleys, the town offers a diverse range of experiences. Immerse yourself in its traditional ambiance, explore the local attractions, and enjoy the best of both the town and its natural surroundings.
