Dog Friendly North East England
Northumberland, County Durham, and Tyne and Wear in the North East, are probably England’s best-kept secret. Fantastic dog walks are in plentiful supply. Stroll round the ancient market towns and villages such as Morpeth, Durham and Gateshead, or take in the hills and moorlands in the most northerly National Park and visit places such as The Cheviot Hills or Kielder Forest.
Of course, this area is also ideal for exploring Hadrian’s Wall on the Scottish border, but if that doesn’t appeal, there are more gentle pursuits. Fishing along one of the many areas in the region, such as River Coquet, visiting Bamburgh beach, which is dog friendly, to just sit and watch the world go by.
We hope that you have some great dog friendly holidays in North East England.
