Dog Friendly Cambridgeshire
Cambridgeshire is a diverse county. From historic towns and cities to the delightful countryside, with gentle hills in the south and Fens in the north east. The university city of Cambridge, is full of old streets and bridges crossing the River Cam; Ely has a wonderful cathedral; Huntingdon was the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell and Wisbech has some fantastic Georgian architecture. If that doesn’t appeal, there are plenty of ancient woodlands to walk or cycle around. There are also a wide range of nature reserves, and of course the Fens. These have been reclaimed and are crossed with rivers and drainage channels. Cambridgeshire is sure to appeal to all ages and interests.
Dog Friendly Essex
Essex not only has beautiful rolling countryside with pretty towns and villages but busy seaside towns too. If you fancy spending a short break in the countryside, then you are in for some great walks. The Essex Way, coastal walks or one of the 5 Walk Essex routes are great choices. Essex has 350 miles of coastline, with many popular resorts such as Southend-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, and Frinton-on-Sea dotted along it. So whether you are after peace and quiet, or something a little louder, then you and your dogs will find something to suit you.
Dog Friendly Norfolk
A dog-friendly holiday in Norfolk, in the East Anglia region, offers so many exciting opportunities for a varied break. If you love the coastline, there are miles of coastal walks around Great Yarmouth. How about a visit to The Fens or Thetford Forest amongst the Scots Pines or heath for a lovely alternative. The North Norfolk coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Or go to the Norfolk Broads for a different perspective. Norfolk is truly a county that offers you and your dog so many opportunities amongst its nature reserves and fabulous seaside resorts.

Dog Friendly Suffolk
Did you know (at the time of writing) Suffolk is one of the few counties to have no motorways? That being said, the county is extremely accessible. There are a wealth of hidden gems just perfect for finding on a day out. Famous for its racecourse at Newmarket, as well as glorious countryside for you and your dog to enjoy. Suffolk also has some stunning coastline and boasts some Blue Flag beaches (please check for dogs welcome). A drive out into the countryside is likely to bring you to a dog-friendly pub and picturesque villages with thatched cottages. The Suffolk countryside has inspired artists such as John Constable. On sunny days or rainy days, there’s plenty to do in Suffolk.
