Hut & Hound consists of high quality, dog friendly, self catering holiday accommodation in super–sized custom Shepherd’s Huts in the countryside in Cornwall. We don’t just tolerate dogs, we actively welcome them, and look forward to having them visit.
Our award winning huts have their own private patio with warm and cold dog washing facilities, and this leads onto a large shared exercise field. A patio table and chairs, as well as a barbeque, are supplied for you to enjoy the outdoor Cornish life.
We have 2 huts that can each sleep 2 people. Both of our huts have a double bed, large table, kitchen, ensuite facilities, underfloor heating and log burner. There are just 3 steps into the huts to enable those of limited mobility (people and dogs) easy access.
The huts are designed to offer a high quality experience whilst being very dog friendly.
There is a facilities room on site with washing and drying facilities plus a large freezer.
We are in the countryside near St Austell, and close to The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lovely beaches and spectacular coastlines, and other well known places like Mevagissey, Charlestown and Newquay.
We are able to cater for long and short breaks, as well as offer dog training with a qualified instructor. We offer dog towels for your use, as well as dog baskets, and dog crates if booked in advance. You will also receive a welcome pack on your arrival.
As dog owners and lovers ourselves, we are very focused on providing relaxing, very dog friendly holidays for all our guests.
