Cruising on one of the Sally narrowboats is a great holiday to share with your best (canine) friend on the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal. There are lots of lovely walks along the towpath, the River Avon and surrounding countryside too. Or just relax aboard and enjoy the stunning scenery as it drifts gently by.
Our fleet contains 2 – 4 berth, up to 8 – 10 berth narrowboats. They are equipped with central heating; hairdryer; electric point for mobile phone charging; TV/DVD; oven and hob; and fridge and freezer. The bathroom(s) has a shower, toilet and wash basin. All fuel (gas and diesel) is included.
We love our dogs at Sally Narrowboats, there are usually at least two in the office, so come and meet our pups. We would love to meet yours too, so bring them along. Dogs go free on all of our holiday boats in 2023.
We supply a towel for muddy paws, but please bring along your usual doggy equipment and get ready for a great holiday.

The Kennet & Avon Canal, at 87 miles long, links London with the Bristol Channel, and passes through some spectacular landscapes including Wiltshire and the rolling Cotswolds. The canal is made up of two lengths of navigable river linked by a canal. The name is used to refer to the entire length of the navigation rather than solely to the central canal section. In all, the waterway incorporates 105 locks.
