Visit The Secret Yurts for a luxurious, peaceful and romantic stay in one of three beautifully appointed Yurts set in 4 acres of woodland. Each yurt has a king-sized bed, wood burning stove and wood fired hot tub right outside on your private deck. Just a short distance away is your own private luxury wet room, and a well appointed farmhouse kitchen.
We allow well behaved dogs, and are an adult only site. Dogs must be kept on lead when not inside the yurt, and should be accompanied at all times as we are surrounded by wildlife and livestock. A dog sitting service can be booked with the host, who is a qualified and experienced dog trainer and behaviourist.
The local area is full of wonderful footpaths and dog friendly pubs and venues, including Lake Vyrnwy, Montgomery, Powys Castle and the nearby Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway.

Welshpool (Y Trallwng) is a market town located in Powys, in Mid Wales, just 4 miles from the England/Wales border. Nestled into the upper reaches of the Severn Valley, Welshpool is surrounded by rolling hills and stunning countryside.
There is a fantastic blend of shops offering arts & crafts, fashion & leisure, fresh produce, and quality pubs and restaurants. The town centre has a restored cock fighting pit (the hexagonal building tucked behind Broad Street) and an interesting Heritage Trail.
Visit the famous 13th Century Powis castle, the renowned Dingle Gardens and the Llanfair Light Railway. Enjoy a stroll in the summer sun along the Montgomery canal or take a walk or bike ride along National walking trails and the Offa’s Dyke Path.
